Cindi - Owner

Locally born and raised, Cindi grew up working in the family business of VanLierop Bulb Farms in Puyallup, Washington farming and maintaining over 200 varieties of bulbs and flowers.  Cindi worked in system production, shipping, marketing, purchasing, creative design, floral pot-scaping,  event production and most importantly customer service in the retail shop.  There was only one way to complete work each day and that was the right way, "The VanLierop Way".

With customer service at her core, Cindi built and became the proud owner of The Polished Home; a home enhancement company offering organization, holiday decorations, floral design, event planning and home cleaning. Check out the Online Shed and Classes for a few of Cindi's great ideas for your home!  Cindi also devotes countless hours volunteering for both FFA and higher education foundations involving youth groups with the belief that these organizations are instrumental in preparing youth for their future.  Cindi works hard every day to better serve her friends, family, and community while incorporating the things she loves.

Opening Farm Shed Wines alongside her family has merged Cindi's love of wine with her desire to enhance the lives of others.  Wine has always been at the center of every celebration and she is enthusiastic to share these experiences with guests at the shed, too.

Madeline - Owner

Growing up on Anderson Dairy Farm Madeline quickly learned the importance of hard work. From a young age Madeline was taught the responsibilities of raising animals, making every step count and leaving things better than she found them for generations to come.

In order to pursue her passion for the science of wine making and with the support of her parents, Madeline moved to California to get closer to the renowned wine region of Paso Robles.  It was there that she dove into the wine culture and has never looked back. Her first experience was interning for Enartis Vinquiry a laboratory and supplier to the wine industry. By day she was in the lab assisting seasoned winemakers with necessary analysis of products and by night she worked with the Wild Horse Winery cellar crew doing pump overs and cleaning micro-bins, the bins in which fruit was received.  The time and acquired knowledge Madeline gained while working with these winemakers has proven to be priceless as it has fueled her passion for wine distribution.  During her time in Paso Robles Madeline also had the opportunity to work at Tablas Creek Vineyard, a leader in Rhone grape varietals.  Tablas Creek Vineyard is renowned for their sustainable biodynamic practices and was instrumental in Madeline's decision to pursue local sustainable wines in her future endeavors.

When Madeline is not on the road traveling in search of small production wine makers you can find her at Farm Shed Wines pouring the wines she works so diligently to procure. Her desire to bring local, small production, sustainable wines is a constant labor of love she looks forward to sharing with all of the guests at Farm Shed.
